Our scope of work included photography, photo retouching, and preparation for print. This project demanded extensive retouching to present the hair in the best possible light while maintaining a natural and authentic appearance.

The creative process began by focusing on representing the high-quality hair styling and coloring services provided by Hayadi Salon. The objective was to create images suitable for printing and framing. Inspiration was drawn from photography seen on hair product labels in stores like CVS and Target, with an aim to reverse-engineer the lighting setup for optimal hair highlighting, both during the shoot and in post-production.

The central design element of this project was an accurate representation of the hair and a commitment to preserving a natural look. Each image was carefully composed and edited to achieve this goal.

For this project, Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop were the primary tools used for photo processing, editing, and retouching. The final images were exported from Photoshop to ensure a beautiful, high-quality print.

The project resulted in the creation of five printed photos that now adorn Hayadi Salon's storefront, serving as a compelling visual testament to the salon's skills and expertise. Additionally, digital versions of the images were leveraged on the salon's social media accounts.

Hayadi Salon expressed immense satisfaction with the finished products. Customers frequently provide compliments, especially when they learn that the models featured in the photos are regular clients of the salon. The images effectively convey the salon's commitment to excellence.
